Modus V Studio is led by two Architects

David T.H Huang

Principal . Architect . AIA

David was educated at Cornell University, the top architecture school in the U.S. Upon graduation he spent 4 years at NBBJ in Seattle designing hospitals. Hospitals are generally considered one of the hardest project types to design technically. David spent many hours at the job site coordinating construction and gained a wealth of architectural construction problem solving knowledge. But first and foremost he is a passionate designer with great taste and a creative mind. Combine the problem solving skills and design talents and you have the recipe for a great architect.

Milton Lam

Principal . Architect . NCARB

Milton also received his architecture training at Cornell University. He first moved to New York after he graduated to work for the Modernist master Richard Meier. At Richard Meier's office, Milton worked on an ultra luxurious condominium tower in Chelsea Manhattan. After spending three years on the East coast Milton became a project manager at Lane Williams Architects, a boutique firm that specializes in custom homes in Seattle. Milton has since developed a great interest in creating spaces for people to live. Through his experiences he has gained the design acumen to poetically compose spaces that both function and inspire. But most importantly, Milton is a very good listener who understands the human factors in an architectural project. Together with substantial training in business administration and management, Milton makes a very good project manager.
